MREA Solar Training

Solar energy jobs were up in 47 states and increased 9 percent nationwide from 2020 to 2021 to a total of 255,037 solar workers. However, many solar installers face challenges in finding enough workers to meet the growing demand for solar.

The solar industry can offer a path to advancement and a family-sustaining career, including for those without a two- or four-year college degree. Our Solar Training Academy offers engaging training for students starting their professional solar careers and helps them earn their NABCEP PV Associate Credential. This is an entry-level credential that qualifies an individual to design, sell, install, or maintain systems in a supervised capacity.
